Hear that? It's the sound of me bowing down to you right now. I have a Blythe and have attempted to make her clothes; I nearly died making her a shirt, to which I still haven't gathered the strength to add buttons. The tiny little pieces and weeny seam allowances are not to be believed. That you attempted the Yamamoto jacket AT ALL, LET ALONE IN 1/6th scale, slays me. I have to go lie down now.
Totally cool. I'm very impressed.
That's just so cool...the blythe doll...making clothes for her...especially such special designer clothing! Great job! For such small measurements...do you have to do everything by hand sewing?

Wow! that so cool! I made the full size version last month, so I know this pattern take some 'figuring out' I'm really impressed you managed to make a small version.
Very sweet! I am actually working on the full size version for me...hope it turns out as well as your doll's!
Is that Stereolab T-shirt?
wow-- how amazing! your blythe doll jacket is chic-er than anything i own :) oh, and extra props to emilykate for the funniest comment i've ever seen here :)
Thanks for the nice comments! I actually didn't plan on making it, but traced the pattern off my computer screen onto paper to work it out for fun. The Mr. realized it was Blythe-sized, and I was too lazy to make a full-sized one, so voila.
Emilykate, how funny. :) Some tips: make it with big seam allowances first (1/4"), then cut off all the extra after you're done. Doll sized buttons are murder. The only way I've figured out how to put them on is to keep threading and unthreading the needle, because mine won't go through the teeny holes.
Pinkhibiscus, it's by hand because of the tricky pattern, but this one went pretty quick .. there were really only 3 or 4 seams.
Muhumuster, it's a Monchichi shirt she stole from Momoko.
Lovely!!! This is really nice! I'm just thinking about to make one for me, and it's so funny to see this mini yamamoto jacket here!! Nice!
