Alexis done in a pink cotton with buttons instead of a zipper, bias tape as an accent and a slit in back filled in with cow print cotton. I recycled a men's white button up to make the lining. It is awesome because it doesn't stick to your legs.

Love the fabric color, especially with the contrast piping, how creative! What modifications did you have to make to the pattern to add the buttons (which I like much better than the zipper)?
You could probably add three inches or so onto the back left side, but I cut a piece 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches, sewed the short ends with a 5/8 in. seam to make it 7 1/4 x 3 1/4 and sewed that into the back seam on the left side where the zipper would be. Then all you have to do is measure to make the button placement even. Slightly backwards, but it did the trick, I just happened to have buttons rather than a zipper and I am really bad at sewing in zippers.
looks very stylish! with the buttons instead of a zipper is a really good idea! i must smile when i see the lining :) great job!
I love it! Great job on modifications.
Great job, love the details: black buttons and cow print
Love it love it love it, the buttons at the back are really stylish. And I'm a huge fan of the bias tape.
It looks great, love the contrast. I must say though - the filled in slit doesnt do it for me, but otherwise its fantastic!
That rocks so LOUD! I love the color and your attention to detail.
