Yep - this is Amy Butler's "Weekender Bag" pattern. I bought mine locally, but Reprodepot.com sells a lot of her patterns. Thanks for the nice comments! :)

I always want to sew this bag. Yours came out wonderful. Was it hard to sew? I have heard that this is not an easy pattern to sew. By the way, I love Any Butler's fabric and her pattern too. I have made curtains and slip cover from her fabrics.

I would say this is an intermediate pattern, simply because of all the steps and the perseverance it takes to work with the piping, the interfacing, etc. I didn't use the Timtex - I went for heavyweight sew-in interfacing instead - and I also omitted the piping around the long edges of the bag. Both these steps made it significantly easier to complete.

Thank you, Gloriana Oh my, I hope Amy Butler doesn't use Timtex for every parts. That stuff is very stiff. I hate working with Timtex. Heavyweight sew-in interfacing sounds good to me.
