I have been making these bags for a while now since I found the tute on sewtakeahike.I modified it somewhat by adding a loop from a pony tail hairband on the top of the band and adding a big button just below the band for closure. I also attached my straps on the top of the bag at the pleats before attaching the band,then after attaching the band and facing, I folded up the straps and attached them to the top of the bag creating a loop(4 loops in all) These bags are easy to make once you get the hang of it,took me a few trials before I got it right...now everybody wants one..LOL I hope you like my creation.One of these bags is Elvis Presley,the other is a fabric with embroidered circles already on it.

Various types of fabric & lining,whatever matches the best.I get a lot of fabrics from the Salvation Army Thrift Store here real cheap. sew in or iron on interfacing lightweight cotton or muslin for extra interfacing and strength hairband elastic loop big button
