I have sewn this pattern before and loved it, so I wrote a how to and will definitely reuse it again and again in different prints and colors. Although a plain color will accentuate the cut better, it works well with a print too. I can also picture it with a different color for the sleeves and lower front.

It is easier to make but looks sophisticated with the twist in the front and underlines the bust, fits beautifully and is very comfortable sewn in jersey. Can be made with or without sleeves and the back can have a V neckline just like in the front.

Materials

jersey

    itching to create!

That's so pretty! I find myself looking at shirts in this style all the time when I go shopping and to make it would be so much fun. The print is gorgeous, too; I love that blue. It really makes the model's hair (or maybe that's you?) pop.

My only problem with it, though would have to be the length. I have a long torso, so I'd have to make mine a little bit longer.

This is awesome. The fabric works so well with the pattern and you look very beautiful in it.

Making Dianas for everyone I know.

Its a nice all purpose top. I love the knot on the front. Also, I like that it is not too low cut. Are you posting your How to?

Thank you everyone for such nice comments!

AmyNugent, I wish I could post a pattern, but it is from BWOF magazine, I have no idea if those are copyright or what...plus I've never scanned, converted a pattern...always wanted to try though...

    Anyway, here's the link: Burda 04/2005 http://www.burdafashion.com/de/Magazine/ArchivburdaModemagazin/113ATop15A_Rock/1270777-1463237-1212677-1212682-1212782.html
