Retro Tube top

Description

When I saw annesofie's skulls, I said to myself I want a cool tube top, so I ran to my stash and made this. I used yellow gingham that I got at walmart for 50 cents a yard and white muslin to line it. I didn't use a pattern, because this was an experiment to see how a cut out between the bust piece and the waist piece would work, for future design plans. The top zips up the back.

Materials

yellow gingham, bleached muslin, zipper

really has a thing for Azaleas!

I'm very into the whole retro look lately, and have even purchased a bandeau style one piece bathing suit to sport this year...(not that I've had even one second of free time for the beach..boo).

I think this is adorable and inspiring! Can't wait to see more!
