Description

A dress from McCalls 5624. I slightly modified it by raising the neckline in the front and back (good thing I did, too!) and lining the skirt as well as the bodice. I'm really happy with how it turned out...now just need to figure out what to do with the leftover print, because I have at least a yard of it!

polyester, some kind of stretch cotton blend

Beautiful! You did well on the modifications -- you can't tell the pattern's been changed. How is the middle, blue part created? Did you sew it directly onto the dress? Or is it tacked on?
