This is the bee costume I made for my niece for the carnival party in her nursery group this year. As I found that a mostly black coloured costume would be too dark, I made a yellow dress from a burda children's pattern and put black stripes on the skirt and four wings at the back. It was a pity that she fell ill with the chicken pox and could not wear the costume for the party.
