Anda dress for my mother. I shortened the dress about 15 cm. As you can see, I've made som changes in the pattern; on the front I altered the dress, and made those broad chequered stripes across the chest. At the back I altered the back of the neck - I made a little closure with buttons, which gives it a nice touch of being a shirt :-) The rest of the dress is made following the instructions - no, by the way I also made it a bit smaller by sewing in the sides (god, I don't know if it's called that!!??) For further information about the alteration watch my how to "alteration of the anda dress"

What a lovely dress. And you are so sweet to make it for your mom.
Nice job, very cute. I did the sailor anda dress and I noticed that we posed the same way! :)
Great dress, I would so wear this! And I really love the button detail on the back of the neck.
The back of the dress is such a cool touch and the checkered stripes across the front are so fun!
