I altered the Anda pattern by changing the hemline so it comes up on the side and making the dress MUCH shorter. I also added thick ties on each side at the waist by cutting four triangles out of leftover fabric and sewing them into ties and insetting the ties, into the side seams, the whole dress has french seams. I also stamped flowers onto the dress using a stamp I made out of a potato, I learned this technique from the etsy How-To with Lotta Jansdotter on YouTube. I stamped a zigzag line of flowers from my top left shoulder down to the waist and a cluster of flowers at the bottom right. The dress can be tied in the front or the back.

Hey I really like the way you've changed it, the curved hemline suits it. I love the print you've done, the lime green on gray is gorgeous.
Waow great alterations! Love the way you tie it, and you can use the ties as pockets too?
It looks really nice tied in the back. It gives the dress such shape!
no you can't use the ties as pockets, but that is a good idea!
I really do like what you've done with this very basic pattern.
This has a somewhat medieval tunic look to it. So, when will you make the trews and "Gates of Hell" over-garment? ;)) Nehmah
Love those potato stamps! creative, and cute color combo.
it looks to cute and versatile! I love how the ties change the dress and the potato stamp thing is genius! However, I have a little issue with the hem, since it looks like it needs some pressing... although I don't kow if it curls up on purpose. Well done!
lol it does need to be pressed I was too excited to iron it when I was finished, I wanted pictures then
Very creative!! Congrats
