This swimsuit was fairly easy to make. The binding piece that extends around the back and turns into the halter does not seem to require elastic. I also bound the leg holes instead of using elastic. If you apply binding or elastic make sure keep the elastic taut (a one to one ratio) across the front and stretch the elastic/binding a bit tighter at the back. It seems a little short-waisted so next time I'll add an inch or so to the torso. Otherwise, it's a pretty great bathing suit pattern, I'll definitely make it again.

So cute! Fits great! I love how the legs look like a boy cut.

you look great
tres hot. I love it!
Waow, great swimming suit!
Looks lovely on you. Great choice of fabric too. Just a suggestion, on the "short waisted" adjustment since you don't have a bubble butt like me, you might want to not make the distance between the waist and hip longer on the back. Good luck.
It looks great! Did you use any kind of special foot for sewing on lycra?
Thanks everyone! I didn't use a special foot, most of it was sewn on the serger, and for the rest of it I used a normal zigzag foot. I think it could use some length in the torso because the bust insert hits a couple inches lower (to my eye) than it should. That may be intentional though.
Got a question about this pattern. I noticed that when piecing it together to make the pattern, that there is only one 2C. I matched it to the 2nd 2B. I hope that is right. Also, what is the pattern piece that connects the 2 2Fs together? Is that part of the back strap? I wonder because most of the back strap pattern is to the left and this piece is all the way to the right. I have no idea what to do. Thanks for the help.
