This dress was modified from the free download at burdamode (the dress with the scarf). I ommitted the buttons, and decreased the bias in the skirt. The sleeves were taken from the same pattern but lengthened and altered to have the puffy effect. I also placed tucks above the waistline for more volume since the fabric goes flat on the body.

I love that colour! I've tried this pattern once but had given up. And those sleeves are 'it' this season.
Great colour and sleeves! That glossy satin might not work for everyone, but it looks great on you.

Wow your dress is very sweet!Little candy!
Wow! That's an amazing dress! How did you see such possibility in that pattern?
I love your choice of fabric! Your dress looks fabulous, much better than the original Burda dress!
Very sexy! Great sewing skills and patience to work with that slippery fabric. I love that color and the way this pattern looks in solid, nice addition of the longer sleeves! Congrats and have fun wearing this pretty pretty dress!
Thanks guys! I really like this color and I'm glad you loved it too (just don't think of Kermit the Frog - haha). Mirela is right, it's a difficult fabric, but rubbing it on my cheeks every now and then while sewing gives me an incentive :) Zozowahine: The pattern is really nice, it's not just really emphasized in the burda picture because of the floral fabric.
Wow!
