I have always loved Jane Birkin's flared jeans on Serge Gainsbourg album's cover 'Ballad of Melody Nelson' (her and daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg are my style icons).Tight jeans are not really my thing anyway.Anita was the perfect pattern to modify. I have widen up the leg at a 30 cm width, starting the increase underneath the leg. I don't think I'll ever buy jeans again.

Wow! I love your jeans. I´m also working on Anita jeans in a varied version, but they will not such a wide leg as yours. You did really good work and inspired me to finish my jeans!

Wow, your stitches are all perfect. I alway admire people who can stitch perfectly on home sewing machine. You're right, you should not buy jeans again!

I LOVE these jeans... your variation of the wide leg is awesome! Skinny jeans aren't for me, so you have inspired me to try to at least LOOK at the Anita pattern! Beautiful job!
