Dressy Shirt Re-do

Description

A few years back we did a neighborhood yard sale, but there were a few items that didn't sell. The original shirt was one of them; my neighbor said she wore this to Las Vegas back in the 80's!!! I took it and threw it in the dress-ups, but I recently rediscovered and re-did it! I cut the sleeves off, took out the shoulder pads, added an elastic band, and made cute little ties optional for the shoulders. It was a great little rainy-day project, and goes perfectly with my wide-leg velvet pants!

Great recon! Shoulder pads always make me cringe... 80s tops are definitely not my style, but you made this one look really stylish. Love it :)
