Yes, another ruffle top. Based off the JJ pattern, but this one is a bit more rough around the edges, and a little more avant-garde. I'm heading in a high-fashion /peasant direction, and here we are.
Beautiful neutral colored designer surplus silk with lovely drape and hand. Seams and edges are serged in darker browns, ruffles are topstitched. Amazing texture in person. Double breasted, snap closures.
I cut this fabric as I was cutting a custom order and I was planning on sewing it the 'right' way... but I'm bored of sewing the 'right' way!! This was pretty fun. I love the way the texture came out, and the creative process was quite satisfying.

The texture, the color, the feel of the fabric... it's all beautiful. I really like your take on the JJ pattern. You can see "your style" in the way you made the changes to the pattern. Awesome job! :o)
I love it.
I think it's great. I'm usually not that keen on the serged-on-the -outside look, but in this case, I love the lines and texture it provides and your adaptions to the JJ pattern work very well this way.
i love this one. i like the soft coloured fabric with the "undone"-serged edges. great contrast between cute and rough. gorgeous!
Beautiful!
Exquisite! I like the futuristic feel of it.
Nice contrasts. Delicate, but with a touch of attitude.
You're so crative. I love how you did with the sleeves!
Well done! Amazing and creative as always! :)
I loveeee it!!! Your creative direction is amazing! I love all your works and I'm waiting more from you! the better thing in this blouse is that can be avant garde but very usable (I expect this is the right word!) !
This is absolutely beautiful. I love you version. The details are really great.
Beautiful Layla!
I am speechless. This is gorgeous. You say, rough around the edges, and thats exactly what I love about this blouse-the contrast between rough around the edges and sophisticated. Pictures are lovely too.
I love it! I might have to steal this pattern, I think I'm in love with this top!
gorgeous!
