Before I left for an assignment in Southern Sudan, I spent a few weeks helping a friend with her home re-decoration project. After painting her living room in a light aqua and copper/rust accent wall, I sewed her some couch cushion covers and silk curtains to match. (can't take credit for the beautiful teal fish pillow - I bought that for my friend, since she's a Pisces, and the sort of geometric black/white pillows on the brown couch were hers from before) :)

Curtains: silk / Cushion covers: stretch cotton, damask, and some kind of heavier upholstry fabric
