here is my dress loosely based on the tara pattern. i used elastic to make it more formfitting and then sewed ribbon over some of it. i continued the line of the top until it was floorlength. i also added inseam pockets. i'm really happy with it, it came out pretty much exactly how it was in my head. except of maybe it looks fancier than i imagined, but i think i can still wear it on an everyday basis.
