I loved the Celestina dress since it came on the site, especially the darts-to-insert construction and the fact it has long sleeves on a thin dress. This is my second creation from a Burdastyle pattern and I was really pleasently suprised with the fit. I cut the fabric according to the sizing table and didn't have to make any changes while sewing. I added facings to the waist-inserts to neaten the inside.

Oh my goodness, It is so chic. I love all of your creations. They are all elegant. I can't believer that this dress is actually the Celestina dress. I kept going back and forth, checking the pattern and your dress. I want one! I have a piece of linen with floral embroidery as well but it is not as nice as yours.
wonderful again, lauriana! i have to agree with Jj-- the word to describe all of your creations is "elegant." just lovely.
at a first glance I thought: I think this is lauriana. one more chique black-n-white creation, lovely!
Beautiful! I really love the Celestina dress and now I love it even more. :-) And yes, it has your "signature", your style!
Excellent choice of Fabric once again, Beautiful Dress Lauriana!
I´m speechless. It´s gorgeous!
Absolutely stunning as usual Lauriana!
Gorgeous dress, gorgeous fabric!
Fabulous! Once my 'bump' has gone next year i'll be making an original Celestina. :)

Your dress is really beautiful.I love black-white combinations
That's amazing. I have to admit I was skeptical of the Celestina when I saw the sample on here, because it's really hard to find patterns for long-sleeved dresses that don't either look frumpy or too kiddish, and I kind of wrote this one off as the latter. But yours looks so chic, it's making me seriously rethink my opinion of this pattern!
oh yea, this is the same, well it looks really cute
