here's my version of the bella pants. i was originally excited to go high-waisted which i haven't done since i think elementary school, but then realized that it was just too hot for summer and since i'm not a shirt tucker you wouldn't see it anyway. i'm pretty darn happy with them. the one thing i don't like is that the top of the fly the fabric is kinda sticking out. any ideas for flattening that out? the only thing i came up with so far is putting a tiny snap in that corner. my sewing machine was sick when i made the pants and i borrowed my boss's machine, which did an ok job, but well, it wasn't my bernina, so maybe the stitching is not as perfect as i'd like, but i think you can only see it if you look really close.

great low waist version of Bella. It looks very comfy and cool at the same time
Waw they look awesome! Lovely piping
LOVE the bright red and the awesome piping! Very unique, and I like how you lowered the waist-- I'm not much of a fan of wearing high-waisted clothes myself.
Adorable. I love the bright color too.
I love these. You have done such a good job. love the red fabric. I don't even know how you do that piping! it looks great.
I like your Bella much more than the original with the high waist! The colour is great and the piping makes it really special. It looks so perfect. Must have been an awful lot of work...
I agree with viridiagreen....your pants look gorgeous and well worth the time spent struggling with the piping! (At least I would have been.)
I live also in the heat and considered making a high waisted skirt...just tooo hot!
Excellent job...I really think the proportion of the pant now works.
