Summer dress from Beyonce Clothes line Spring 2007

Description

I saw this lovely dress in the Oprah Show last summer. Beyonc� and her mom were showing their clotes line called "House of Dereon" Super femenine clothes and inspired in the 40's. I download the model from the oprah's site and then tryed to figured out about matching patterns, so I used for the upper side and yokes, the pattern of the Burda Easy fashion dress, and for the botton side I used a pattern from Patrones magazine. This is the result. I love this dress more than any other and always I receive compliments for it.

Materials

I found a fabric (Lucky me) just exact than the original one but not in cotton but in embroided taft.

Credits

to me, to Burda, of course to Beyonce (it is her creation)

Again a great creation! Every time I see your creations you remind me of Gabrielle Solis form Desperate Housewives (which I mean as a compliment), because I think you resemble her a little bit and she has also such nice nobel garmets! But of course you are able to make all those nice things by yourself :) Keep on sewing!

Ah yes, Polychromatin, I couldn't find whom I was thinking of when I looked at all Milkyway's creations, she does resemble Eva Longoria and I also think her sense of style is great! Beautiful dress, Milkyway, ik zet jou bij mijn favorieten!
