Pink and black dress worn with black petticoat underneath. The circle is a skirt with twelve panels. I drafted the skirt panel by simply dividing my quarter circle pattern into 3 and adding seam allowances. I had some trouble with the satin (which shows around the neckline and the bias binding on hem) because it was a soft satin. For the bodice I modified a pattern. (I'll add the exact one later)

must say, for a circle skirt, your bias binding is pretty neat as is. i hate using bias taping for extremely curved angles because it warps so badly!
Ah Ok, the black petty coat goes underneath! Really neat, I can't see the troubles you had with the satin!Keep well
What a great photo - you cant see any problems with the binding at all, and the pettycoat is fantastic!
the dress rocks!
wow! amazing dress! I would rather wear it too! ;) I like the color combination!
