i tried following the Anda pattern, but it's been so long since i've used a pattern, it was a disaster. I tried my best to follow along, but I cut the fabric wrong, sides didn't match, etc., so I altered it to the best of my ability.
I raised the hem quite a bit, added a zipper to the back middle, and added a 5" white satin trim at the bottom. I actually really love the way it turned out. I also added a belt to give it some shape.

This is a very pretty dress. And this white trim gives some extra character. Nice job:)
oh! great!
Looks like a skirt and top - I think the original design is a bit sack-like but this looks superb.
Stunning dress - and great photos - well done! Very glamorous anda!
This really is glamorous! good job.
I may have to try Anda pattern soon. I love how yours turn out even though you didnt follow it. I like your pictures too.
Cute top, I like it.
ooh thank you! it's exciting to hear that my pattern-disaster-turned-decent is liked! :)
I like your version of Anda. Looks really great.
Well for what seemed like a disaster it sure turned out alright. I think it's fabulous.
This is great! I love the white trim along the bottom.
Where could I find the pattern?
loveisoxygen, i used the anda pattern as the basis, but changed some parts so it would fit my body shape better. i got rid of the casing and eastic, made the neckline into more of a bateau neckline, and just made the body of the dress a basic a-line. it was pretty easy! hope that helps!
I really like it. At first I thought it's a black blouse and a white skirt. It is very interesting and has charm especially on the first photo where you're smiling so charming (:
Very cute and modern. It looks great on you!
