Green Recycled Skirt

Description

I had this dress from (cough) Primark (cough) which I bought once for fancy dress, but I was never going to wear it again. So I detached the bodice, pleated the top of the skirt (like the Marie) and made a new waistband. And now its a skirt I can wear all summer long!

Materials

Green eyelet cotton

    "Spiffing up my sewing room!"

Its great that you took something you didn't like and turned it into something that you love. Turned out wonderfully!

It's (the fabric) is called allover eyelet. It's a type of embroidery. I will bet that it is going to have a lot of wear this summer. Smart use of fabric from a not-so-great dress. Nehmah
