Retro dress made from a recycled sundress and a vintage skirt and underskirt. Hand sewn. Accessorized with antique lingerie pins.

    this is so up my alley. i absolutely love it!!! look at that petticoat. and its hand sewn....BRAVO!!!

    the pin detail on the top is great.

    this is just lovely! what did you alter on the existing dress? were the wrap front and cummerbund already there, or did you do that all from scratch? (PS to bellamabella-- i am also a 50's freak and collect tons of 1950's prom gowns and 1950's prom gown sewing patterns. i highly recommend checking out ebay for vintage patterns if you haven't already!)
