Strip(e)show! Skirt

Description

A swingy circle skirt I made. Elastic waistband, over-locked edges. A little hard to hem because of it's circular nature, so overlock was the best bet. Very very pretty and flattering. It can be worn as a strapless top with a belt underneath the bust or as shown with a tank top. It's both dressy as well as functional and wearable as a day skirt too.

Materials

Polyester mix, cotton (red skirt) Stretch cotton, cotton (blue skirt) Kimono Silk, Burnt & crushed organza (black skirt)

    getting rid of clutter

These are all lovely. Your colour combinations are fabulous. I'm very curious about how you cut the band at the bottom. I've been thinking about adding a band to a circle skirt I made to extend its length -- it ended up a tad too short. Did you cut a bias strip or is shaped to fit the curve of the main section?
