Angie's Messenger Bag

Size_chart

Description

I got the tutorial from this: http://forum.threadbanger.com/showthread.php?t=1280 To be honest, it's a little flimsy, but I do like it. I've been looking for a good shape for a messenger bag. In order to cut down on flimsiness, I zig-zagged the edges of the front flap and straps. I like it! p.s. I mad a pocket with a tree on it, which you can see in the pix.

I do want to warn people though- it doesn't fit bigger laptops, or at least mine. :) I hope it fits yours though!

Thanks for that- this one's a 17", so I will measure the pattern - as I'm sure I should with all patterns!

Making Dianas for everyone I know.

I think it looks good. I have to tell you. I started very enthusiastically making totes and the interfacing is a challenge. Itshard to figure out the right support.

I figured the next time I make a messenger bag with this pattern, I'd use a canvas or more sturdy material.
