I made this brown linnen blouse last year with a pattern from Burda WOF-magazine 06/2007. I used green contrast stitching and embroidery to give it something extra. It was pretty easy and fast to make.
Although I love the result a lot, I don't wear it much. The sleeves are a little too narrow for my arms and it's also a little too short at the bottom...

That is a very interesting pattern with this weird line:) It is the worst thing to happen when you do something pretty and it doesn't really fit you, isn't it?:))
maybe it's possible to make sleeves wider? I don't know, maybe like in JJ blouse with cut-in and button? if you know what I mean? and it would fit you then, and you could wear this beutiful blouse more often? becouse it looks very nice. i like the topstiching with contrasting thread, so your looks very nice for me.
Lovely. I like this pattern alot. Next time you might want to do full bust alteration just a little bit and perhap cut sleeves in bias.
Thanks for the tips!
I love the combination of brown and blue. It looks great.
I like your blouse very much! I tried making the same blouse, but it wasn't even near that pretty. If I make you a jacket, would you make me a blouse? ;)
lol AnaJan :)
How sad that it doesnt fit. It looks so good in the picture. Like your embroidery stitching at the hem.
What is the pattern # for this shirt.. I love it. It looks a perfect fit for you , even if it is too tight... that look is in with a good proportioned body like yours.
It's pattern #112.
