The Obnoxious Hoodie

Size_chart

Description

This still needs A LOT of work! Any comments would be extremely helpful. I wanted to create a top that was layered over itself many times, and an obnoxiously large hood. It zips up on the side. It still needs sleeves, lining, and maybe a solid fabric to tone it down. I didn't use a pattern; I just folded fabric over a model of my torso to see how it would hang, and went from there.

Materials

African print cotton, 14 inch zipper

Credits

My mom, for helping me make the model.
My dog. She is always approving, no matter what I sew :)

    altering and repairing

Wow, I really like it. Great that you did this without a pattern and really nice t see you smile ;) I have no idea what to change, because I really like it the way it is (without sleeves)

way too busy for loads of sewing

I agree with Polychromatin. It looks good now and suits you well. Sleeves might make it all a bit much. If you want to go for sleeves anyway, I'd recommend doing really simple ones, in a plain colour that matches your fabric (you could try jersey ones, maybe use the Lydia sleeves for that)
