I followed very closely the Evelin Brandt pattern described in the Burda Magazine from June 2007 #139 (down to choice of colors) since I liked it as it was. I am happy with the result; it's working well on a fuller figure too and yet far from the standard 'tent'-like models for Plus-sized women.

Very good! Very well made and well fitting!
Looks good on you!
It is beautiful, I love the fabric you picked and the topstitching details look very professional. I particularly like the darker band at the bottom. Is that a signature embroidery below the waistline? Looks great.
This dress is gorgeous! Bravo!
I like it and it fits you great!
beautiful work, and it looks fantastic on you!
just gorgeous...im curvy as well..and i know how hard it is to find non tent like dresses. I LOVE this on you... :)
Very very beautiful, the dress looks really neat on you.. good work!
Beautiful work! I love the detail, especially the embroidery on the waist! Such a classic look!
Thanks a lot, heartwarming to see so much so nice feedbeack! The embroidery at the waistline are my initials. The idea was to give that last golden touch to my self-made wardrobe.
i briefly thought about making this dress when i saw it in burda but then decided it probably wouldn't look good on me. then i looked at yours again and thought "that really is so cute, maybe i should make it after all." so i went to the burda website to see what sizes it came in and i have to say, looking at the photos, the dress is far more stunning on you than it is on the model! good job again!
