I made this for my work christmas party (where the photo was taken - sorry I'm looking a bit worse for wear!). I'd seen a similar dress on Cameron Diaz in "The Holiday", and thought "I could make that!"

I copied the top from a corset I already had (but put in a side zip instead of back laces), and used the skirt part of the Jonny pattern.

It was a bit of a labour of love, but I'm really pleased with the result! Will put on some better photos when I get the chance.

The top is silk dupion and the skirt is polka-dot chiffon, with cream satin underneath, with 2 layers of net under that, and a light lining under that as the net was a bit scratchy.
