Description

I made a version of Simplicity 4940 for a elf dress in the style of Lord of the Rings, but I didn't have an shoes to go with it. When I saw the Dorothy Ballerina Slippers I knew I could make the perfect elf shoes with scraps from the dress.

Materials

Polyester Shantung, Embroidered Nylon/Polyester blend, Heavy Canvas, Cotton Batting, leftover dress trim

Those turned out really cute I love the fabric and the little detailes on the strap of them.

Cool! That's so nice to see Dorothy balerina slippers turned into Elf shoes! :) I like your choice of fabrics. Good job!
