I made a Heidi dress with tropical floral print (and even a hat matching to the dress) for our one-day trip to a botanical garden where thousands of rhododendrons were at their best. Unfortunately, it was shockingly foggy and I have to say it wasn’t a good day for photographs… we had a great fun (in the jungle-ish) day though!
Tropical HeidiDescriptionMaterialspale-tone linen/cotton floral fabric for the dress, yellow-white row silk and some left over from the dress for the cloche Credits

Very pretty dress! Nice fabric, it doesn´t matter that you don´t match the print!
This one looks fabulous!
Beautiful fabric, beautiful dress:)
Great dress and fabric!
It's beautiful, it makes me want a Heidi dress of my own (but I shouldn't, I have too many projects already)

Thank you all, for your kind comments! fashion1, yes, that is THE reason why I love this print ;). For oonaballoona, I guessed you might like to know the size for the ribbon I used before you try your good fabric, for just an example … please come&check one of my profile photos if you like. I couldn’t upload here since it’s slightly wider than it should be here.
Wow, your version is beautiful! I love the fabric and colour. Great for the summer.
