There are no scraps on my watch...

Description

No scraps on my watch indeed, because I'll try to make something of even the smallest leftover. I made this top from the mystery fabric left over from my boyfriend's most recent new shirt. After the pleated top, I wanted to try a more flowy version with gathers. There wasn't enough fabric to consider gathers at the back, but I think it's roomy enough as it is. I also made my first peter pan collar here. It looks quite dowdy on the dummy but it is better on (although I really should get my hands on a real colour soon...;)

Materials

brown/grey/purple mystery fabric, bais tape, buttons

Lauriana, great blouse! I have just uploaded in the howtos a way to solve the mistery. Hope you have saved a little tiny scrap ;-)

I love this style very much. I think we can make it into light jacket too.

That is so cute :D! Did you use a pattern or did you just kind of come up with it?

way too busy for loads of sewing

I made the pattern myself, starting out with a bodice sloper made (by me) to my measurements.

Were you a prestigious tailor or a royal seamstress in your previous lives?
