after I had made yet another pair of jeans, I wanted to make a pair of trousers that would stand up to use in slightly more formal situations as well. It's not really anything fancy, but I really love these. They're my first self-designed trousers in a fabric with stretch in it, and I narrowed the pattern to make use of that. I made front pockets and single bound pockets with buttons at the back. The with is to the waist (with a wide waistband) with leg flaring out from mid-thigh.

The fit very well! I would never have the courage to draft a trouser pattern...
I'm definitely taking your advice into consideration! Those pants fit so perfectly!
awesome trousers -- and a perfect fit, too! very, very impressive.
wow, those are perfect. i can't believe you drafted that. i love the waist!
Wow, amazing fit. I love the flare. Very cool
Actually, after making and fitting the basic block, drafting variations on trousers isn't that hard to do. And the fit is exactly the reason why I may never sew trousers from commercial patterns again ;) (I'll just 'borrow' style features, thank you;)
I´m not really a fan from highwaisted clothes, but your trousers are stunning! I really like it! After this maybe I give this style a try.
Great pants, you made them so well. I love the back pocket. Love the shoes too.
