Flamenco Skirt with Godets.
Unfortunately, the tailor who helped me with the skirt marker made it too short.
Cannot use it for dancing like it is :-(
Have to find a solution to make it longer. Thank god, I have some cloth left ....
I did not use a pattern. I used high mathematics to do the skirt. Flamenco skirts must be very tight from the waist, to the hips and at the thighs. Then they should be very wide - Should be a half circle when you hold each side with your hands up horizontal to your waist.

To make your skirt longer, you could add some kind of ruffle. You could do a circular flounce ( Nikkishell made a how to for that) but that takes a lot of fabric. You could also use a straight piece of fabric, 1,5 to 2 times as long as you current hem, gather it to fit the hem and attach that.
I think I will do the second thing you proposed. I already talked to a tailor - she also suggested this version. The only thing I worry is the hemline which is already done with a bias tape. I want to cut the skirt higher (about 10 cm) and add there straight fabric. But what will happen to the hemline? Will it remain straight?
Yes, the hemline will remain straight if you sew the circular flounce in a straight line to the end of the skirt. The smaller you cut the circular flounce, the more ruffled it will be.
