Pants and Vest with patterns from F.I.M.I. My fourth and fifth pieces that I sewed.
I really love the patterns from F.I.M.I. They fit me very well. However, the translations from Dutch to German are awful and really hard to understand - specially for a beginner like me!
Ha. And it was my first checkered cloth. And I made mistakes, of course :-) Had to cut the trousers two times - and then the cloth was not enough. Look, how I put the pieces together. Hehe .... nobody noticed so far ;-)
One of my favorite pants. Am just now doing it again with simple brown cloth.

Hahaha! I do that sometimes too, no worries, nobody notices unless you tell them! They really do fit you very very well, I really like the waist line style. The vest is very cool! What is F.I.M.I. ?

I'm so impressed and I love those pants. I tore out a page of last months American Vogue that had those (I think they were Gucci) in black. I might have to learn Dutch.
Well done again! Actually, I've got an issue of F.I.M.I. and I am Dutch, so I can tell you that the instructions are quite sketchy in Dutch as well. (I ended up never using it because the sizing was quite wrong for me)
I love the pants & vest. Is the magazine avilable in Canda or US? Are the patterns included as in the Burda Magazine?
F.I.M.I. = Fashion Is My Image. The patterns are included in the magazine. The magazine appears 2 times a year. I also love the new issue :-)
I think the magazine is done by a company that sells fabric. They are also very famous for fabrics for kids clothes. They do also have two more magazines "Trendz" (patterns for teenagers) and "Bizzkids" (patterns for kids).

I LOVE this entire outfit. You did a great job, especially in figuring out how to "fix" the issue of not having enough fabric! I am interested in knowing which F.I.M.I. issue it was in, and how to get that issue for myself. I'm not certain that I could wear the trousers, but I could see myself in that vest for sure!
