Description

Jacket from Easy Fashion Autumn/Winter 2007. I have chosen wool instead of polyester and it really worked out. My third thing that I sewed.

Could have been a bit longer although I already made it 3 cm longer than in the pattern. Also the arms ... a bit too short.

Will do the same pattern again!

Thanx to Easy Fashion. Very good pattern!

way too busy for loads of sewing

Well done! It looks quite good. About the length issue: check the backlength and armlength (in the sizing table, in a magazine that's usually printed at the beginning of the pages with sewing instructions, there should also be a diagram there showing you how to measure) for your size. If those in the table are smaller than yours, lengthen bodice and sleeve pattern pieces at the 'lengthen or shorten here' lines. Additionelly, with Burda(style) patterns, the length of the garment is always printed next to the technical drawing in the instructions page, so you could check whether you'd like it like that. If your back length is right, but the style is too short for your taste, add extra length on the bottom of the pattern piece.

Hi Lauriana! Thanxs for the tip! Will certainly do next time. Just bought cloth for a spring coat and will use a pattern from an older FIMI.
