Flower pins

Size_chart

Description

I made these for my prom, to go with my dress that I made (eventually I'll post the dress as well, but right now I don't have any decent pictures of it and it needs some small alterations, that I just quickly corrected the evening...). I followed the tutorial at http://www.roserushbrooke.com/how-to-ruche.html , but I changed the process a bit - those look more like dahlia's, I made the strips shorter and two layers, one smaller. On the bottom there stayed stitches that I used for putting the pins in. I was thinking about adding some beads to the middle, but then I decided this way it was rich enough.

Materials

Sheer beige polyester material (upper layer of my dress)

Thank you, ruffie! I'd love to add more creations, but I have some problems with the upload process... I'll put something on my blog, I think.
