This is my polka dot Vanessa skirt. I took out the pleats in the back and the belt because I thought they'd be too busy with the polka dot pattern. I also took out the lining because I wanted an airy summer skirt. I finished off the waistband on the inside with bias tape instead. It turned out pretty cool, but I am still not sure that the fabric suited the pattern. However, I bought a bunch of the polka dot pattern in Paris, so I have plenty to experiment with!
