Description

I loved all the Marie creations and decided to make one myself, but when finished did not like the high waist on myself. But I really like the skirt's pleats and elegant volume (almost baggy from the side), so I wear it with a top over it. Does anyone else have trouble walking in their Marie?

reconsidering summer sewing plans

The need to have room for walking was one of my reasons for making my Marie with an unpleated back with a slit. Yours looks quite good, though.

I love your Marie! I have trouble walking in mine aswell and getting in and out of my car.

What gorgeous fabric. Great idea using curtain fabric. Your outfit looks hot.
