this was my own pattern, which i modified from a baby doll i have. it started little bit differently, but i'm pleased wiht the result.

I don't know much about fabrics--what is batiste? looks comfy.
in sewpedia it sais that "Batiste: Light-weight fabric with fine threads, made of cotton, linen, wool or synthetic fibres. mine is cotton. it's very silky smooth :) but makes wrinkles easily...;)
