My first project, a shirt from tricot. The fabric was hard to sew especially for a first time. From a distance it looks great but very close you can see it was my first sewing thing :)

Gorgeous! What did you use as trim on the neckline? By the way, when I'm working with something as lightweight and flimsy as this (which actually looks more like a mesh fabric than tricot) I spray it with Sullivan's Spray stabilizer. That makes it stiffer than cardboard and a piece of angel cake to sew. You can find this stuff in the quilting section of craft stores. You wash out the stabilizer afterwards.
