Victorian Ensemble

Size_chart

Description

Bespoke skirt and boned bodice made for a french client.

Hopefully, I'll get to take some pictures in Paris with my client wearing the garments, but I don't know when I'll be able to get there. Anyone wants to offer me a ticket? ;)

Pattern drafting and design are of course by me, as well as the sewing itself. The front details are made using a form of hand smocking.

And yes, I'm also happy to be able to upload pictures of my projects again. There'll be more to come, since I'm now working on two major projects (one victorianesque costume and a 19th century wedding gown plus bridegrooms outfit). And I've started my Fashion Design Studies in April, yay!

Materials

black Dupion Silk and red Silk lining

    reconsidering summer sewing plans

Paranoire, it's great to see some of your work again, and I love it. I adore historical clothes and details from those and I think you did a great job with this outfit.
