These Ellen pants were really easy to make. I used some khaki cotton my mum found in her stash, but couldn't remember what she bought it for. So I got new trousers - Hooray!
I shifted the pockets down a bit, because I felt they were too close to the waistband. I used some fun left-over cotton print for the backing of the pocket flaps as a surprise when you open them. The fit is fairly good, although I took them in a bit at the hip and upper thigh (about 5mm on each side). I wear them all the time, the best sign of a good make!

Looks so good! I think I will make an Ellen, too! I really like the pattern!
Nice job! They look really comfortable.
Nothing better than making a great fitting pair of pants! These fit perfectly.
These look great--the kind of khakis one looks for in the store but never finds!
