North Carolina has made it to the NCAA Final Four, so what's an alum to do? There was almost 2 yards of team fleece in my stash - just enough for a lightweight jacket, a cap, and vintage Burda Moden stuffed animal. The jacket is featured here. It was meant to be worn open, but I created a button opening in the front seam for a nice cinched look around the waist.
Look for the other team spirit items soon: the cap will be in accessories and Carolina Kitty will go up in the toys category.

Way to go team! This is a really cute jacket. I think fleece was a great choice. i don't know if i would have thought to use it for a style like this.
