Charlie Eco Bag

# Product of Burda (42250) (18048)

Description

This is an eco bag, to reduce the use of plastic bags. It is super great, since I lined it, which adds extra "strongness" of the bag. I shop with this bag regularly and the bag has never been too small, which is great success. But, sewers, be aware! This bag is not a 2 hours project, specially if you line it, I was sewing it for a day or two, since I had to stitch every seam couple of times (I made it as the how to suggested - with French seams).

Materials

Cotton leftovers

When I made my first charlie bag, I lined it also. How I lined it was to make two bags, stick wrong sides together then fold over the raw edges (so they were hidden) as I sewed around the edges. How did you attach the flower to your bag? I have been thinking about jazzing up the next bag I make but I am not sure how to go about it.

    in love with linen.

Rasita - I attached the flower by using a narrow zick-zack. Every machine can do it.
