Knotty T-Shirt

Description

Recycling a too big t-shirt into something cuter :D The first picture is the after pic, and the second is what it looked like before I attacked the shirt with my scissors.

I started by cutting two inch cuts into the side of the t-shirt about 1 inch apart all the way up the side and then slicing down the inseam. Then, I just tied the open flaps together into knots, and repeated the whole process on the other side. Super simple and fun! I also cut off the neck and sleeves and repeated the knots on shoulder seams.

Materials

XL t-shirt, scissors

That looks great. I'd love to see a more detailed photo of the sides. Did you just re-sew the seam and then cut it in small sections within the inseam?

I like your modification. I would never think that such an ordinary T-shirt will look so cool! :) Very interesting! Well done!!
