Hillary's Happy Jumper Dress!

#6008 Product of Burda (17522) (630) $2.50
Buy_pattern_pdf Size_chart

Description

I have been eying the Sabrina pattern for some time now, and have finally done it! Only after starting another dress with this fabric did I see that it was so wrong for it, and it was meant to be for the Sabrina dress. I tore the other one apart and feverishly panicked about whether or not the pattern pieces would fit, especially because it is a plaid fabric. But since it was meant to be, it worked with the exception of the pockets! I only did buttons on the front of the dress because they were a tad expensive ;) And I purposely mismatched the plaid on the yoke to show the band going around. I am thrilled with how it turned out!

Materials

cotton seersucker-ish plaid

That looks really cool! I also like the Sabrina pattern a lot, but it annoys me a little that you have to pay for it...

about to get her craft on.

this is wonderful! i have GOT to make my sabrina now. i think i like it better without the pockets, it seems like they weigh the dress down.
by the way, did you have any problems with the pattern? did you find it true to size? for once i want to make all my adjustments before i cut away :)

This is adorable! You look great in it! I never thought I'd ever see a blue checked dress without wondering where the owner's ruby slippers had got to! But you did it! This is beautiful! I love it with the red belt! Spectacular job!
