I had an old skirt from dress-ups and had never looked at as something to remake until now! I used the ruby shorts pattern, and obviously shortened it. I like this length, it makes it easier to run around and climb trees! Next time I use this pattern I will lengthen the inseam a bit--its a little tight. I skipped on the pockets because I was too scared, but I really like them better this way. Overall, I am very happy with my new shorts!

I love those shorts! Fabric, buttons, model, they are so cute. Now I have to make Ruby too.
They look amazing! Very nice fit and nice fabric too :) I didn't like the pattern very much, but your shorts look so good, that I would like to make them too :)
