Description

I used Zahra's pattern for her retro top, but instead of tapering the sides, I cut them straight (so no need for zipper). I also did not add the band at the top, but instead just gathered the top neckline.

Materials

funky silk fabric - I bought a floor length 70's lounge dress at my local vintage store which I refashioned into this top :)

Credits

Zahra for her retro top idea! :)

    pattern decision crises!

It looks great. I like the vivid colors of the fabric and exotic print on it. And I like the creative chaos of your room. :)

    reorganizing her workshop

I have the same dress from the same store - in a different color. Aqua/Blue - Goodwill, Baton Rouge. I made a tunic, pillow and a headband out of it so far! Going to use the remaining to reline a pocketbook. :)
    p.s. shirt looks good!

It does look great! I wanted to see a creation based on this pattern.

Haha - yes the "creative chaos" comes with living in a wee studio apartment. :) Thanks for all the nice comments!
